The documentary film "Etgar Keret: Based on a True Story" won the International Emmy Award for arts programming at the 46th annual ceremony in New York City earlier this week.

Directed by Stephane Kaas and Rutger Lemm, this hybrid documentary blends together animation, live action and interviews. With this delightful mix, "Based on a True Story" follows Etgar Keret, an Israeli writer known for his short stories, investigating why storytelling is an essential aspect of Keret’s life.
